At Old Home Crawford Farm, we aim to maintain a purebred flock of Shetlands with pedigree diversity, sound conformation, friendly dispositions, excellent mothering abilities, hardiness and next-of-skin-soft fleece. A member of both the North American Shetland Sheepbreeders Association and the Fine Fleece Shetland Sheep Association, our flock is dual registered and completes annual micron testing, ensuring our fiber meets the Traditional 1927 Breed Standard. Our sheep are multipurpose: maintaining our open fields through rotational grazing practices, while providing breeding stock, wool products, meat, and countless hours of entertainment and life lessons.
