Who Can Join Vermont Fibershed

Vermont-based fiber producers, processors and service providers may apply to be listed in our Fibershed Directory. Future plans include the addition of a Fibershed Resource List of retailers, events and more.

Fiber Producers are Vermont-based businesses that raise and harvest natural fibers, either plant-based or from their animals, including sheep, goats, camelids and rabbits.

Fiber Processors are Vermont-based Fiber Mills and Fiber Craft Professionals who provide services to third parties to produce fiber products such as yarn or roving or finished products such as hand knitted or woven items.

Service providers are Vermont-based businesses that offer services to fiber producers such as shearing and tanning.

As a first step, we are accepting listings only for the Fibershed Directory.
