Local rug maker and teacher, Mary Ragno, will offer a talk and slide presentation exploring the history and artistry of hooked and braided rugs. Through examples from the Old Stone House Museum’s historic rug collection, Mary will share the stories of local rug makers and designers while exploring the materials, techniques, patterns, and craftsmanship that went into creating these works of art.
