Happy New Year!

Welcome 2024! Let’s hope that our beautiful state catches a break this year, especially in the weather department. We are hoping for green fields, healthy livestock and a bountiful fiber harvest.

Vermont Fibershed in 2024

Our Vermont Fibershed goals for 2024 include:

  • Reaching out to Vermont fiber producers and processors to expand our listings,
  • Adding a Resource List to our website that will include fiber arts guilds, shops that sell local fibers, sources for fiber arts lessons and other fiber-related local resources,
  • Working with the Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival to highlight local fiber producers, processors and artisans,
  • Planning for a fiber arts retreat, possibly in 2025.

Please help us keep the Fibershed listings current. If you are a member and your information has changed, please send us an update. Also, we welcome updated photos or text at any time. The 5 photo limit on your application is meant to help with the form email process. Once you are listed, we welcome additional photos.
